Oli and KateWho needs a backyard when you have your own hill? Matthew discovered this big hill in our apartment complex the other day. He was pushing his lawn mower and then sat on it and rode down the hill. He loved it, and now he goes out there and gets on his little ride-on car and flies down the hill! He has created his own X-games! Some of the neighborhood kids saw Matthew and decided to jump in on the action too, and a new sport was started! Here is an example:
We decided to share "our hill" with the Zimmermans 2 days ago and had a really good time watching the kids play. Olivia and Kate were happy spectators and loved the nice weather. Emma and Matty made some new friends and Joe Zimmerman showed us a backflip! It was a nice relaxing afternoon, and the best part is that we enjoyed our "backyard" without having to do the yard! GOTTA LOVE APT LIFE!

That video is so cute. What language are they speaking in the background? I love the dog and hippo too.
Fun pictures! Go Saddle Ridge! Ben kept making me watch the movie of Matthew going down the hill and said that someday he wanted to try to do what he was doing. Too bad there is no such thing as a hill in Lubbock!! :)
That hill looks awesome. Somthing I would have totally done when I was younger. I was more of a tom boy than my sisters were.
I like how Matty almost ran over that one kid. Too funny!!
(ps. I think you meant to say...Kate and Oli were "spectators"...not "expectators". I always get words wrong, but at least is makes Craig laugh!!)
Way to make apartment living fun! I loved the clip of Matthew going down the hill. I want to come play too! I didn't know Joe knew how to do backflips. Sounds like I missed out on a lot of fun!
