We almost didn't make it in! Yesterday, I went to the elementary school to ask if Matthew had made it into Pre-K for this year. I went to the early registration 1 month ago at the NISD Annex and when I showed up, the line to register for Pre-K circled the building! You would think they were holding auditions for American Idol or something, Matty and I were there for 8 hours! Anyway, they only accept 44 students each year for Pre-K 22 in the morning and 22 for the afternoon class. I think its because of some income restrictions, but we are poor enough so I wasn't worried about that, it was the first come first serve basis thing. Luckily, WE MADE IT! Matthew starts SCHOOL! YEY!!! and better yet, I got to pick the time! AFTERNOON!!! right when Olivia sleeps!!! maybe, my house will be more in order since I will have 3 hours to work with. Well more like 2 1/2 since that's what Oli really naps. I'm also excited for Matthew to go to school and do all the neat things he can do! Matthew loves to cut paper, so I'm excited for all the little projects he will bring home!
YEY! for SCHOOL!

Sorry, for the lack of posts, but our pic uploader thingy is not working. Steve will check it out today though, so maybe more posts tomorrow. (?) And BIG THANKS to Stephenie Anderson who was kind enough to baby sit Olivia for 8 hours so that Matthew may have a chance at education!

How fun! I'm sure Matthew will love it and what Mom wouldn't love more time for HERSELF! Yippee!
Congrats on Pre-K! I can't believe how long you have to wait in line to get in. Some places you have to register months in advance and show up at 5am to maybe get on the waiting list!
Anyways, I hope you get some time to yourself! I'm thinking of enrolling Eric into a pre-school type thing once a week.
Are you kidding me?? You had to wait in line 8 hours?? Whoa! Matthew better get some gold chains or something from that school. Is this a public school program?

Oh good, I'm glad it worked out too! Ashley starts preschool tomorrow but it's all in Chinese. :-) We'll see how that goes. I hope Matthew has fun!! I'm sure he'll love it and do great.
Wow, I can't believe he's already that old. He was such a baby the last time I saw you guys! Way to go Mom, for that little bit of down time that you're going to get. :)
