YEY! T-day pictures! This Thanksgiving was a lot different than our other t-days. We decided to stay in SA instead of going to Dallas and we didn't eat turkey! But because I still have a hard time not being around family, I pretty much begged my mom and little sister to come down for the weekend. It was really fun! and I like starting traditions and activities with the kids! Since we were hosting this year, I decided to plan things to do with the kids. It wasn't very hard, since my mother in law was kind enough to send me a prepared packet full of activities! thanks Karen! We decorated our Thankful Turkeys, and read the first Thanksgiving story. I also got a cute dessert idea from FAMILY FUN magazine and made chocolate and marshmallow pilgrim hats! My little sister and Matthew had a lot of fun making them! We finished off by eating some good Thankful TORTAS and pumpkin soup! it was great!

How did Steve feel about a turkey less Thanksgiving?
It sounds tasty. Send me the recipe for tortas! And also tell me what a torta is.
