Projects!

I used vinyl and the cricut to cut the little "insect tracks" on the wall.

Lyssa helped me make this half apron. It's still needs the ruffles on the bottom but I love how the fabrics look together! the blue bubble fabric was the extra fabric that I used for Olivia's hanging bookcase.

Olivia loves to have her favorite books within easy reach.

I saw this hanging bookcase on Pennycarnival (the link is at the end of the post) I thought it was so genius and practical!

Jan Francisco helped me with the bookcase project and it turned out to be just as easy as it looked! I want Matthew to love reading and he likes that he can put whatever books he wants on his bookcase and look thru the pictures if he's not sleepy enough for bed.

This past week we moved our kids from their bedroom to what used to be the computer room because it had more space for them. I decided to do a little bit of decorating since it's a new bigger room, and I think it turned out cute. In this post I want to say thank you to Jan Francisco for helping me make the hanging bookcases and to Lyssa Zimmerman for talking me into making an apron. If you want instructions for the hanging bookcases click here.

The bookshelves turned out great! You look super skinny in that apron!

Those bookcases look awesome. I can't wait to try them out! And it was so problem doing the aprons with you. It was about time we did something together! Now let's make some aprons for Emma and Olivia :)

I love the book shelves. That is a really good idea. They look so cute in the room too. You did a great job with the decorations.

Thanks for officially thanking me, but I really hoped you'd do it in testimony meeting. Oh well. Maybe next project.

Your book slings look great! Thanks so much for following my tutorial and blogging about it. I just made one for someone tonight--in exchange for a massage (it pays to know how to sew, huh?).
