There are some amazing perks to having your kids start school. The first one is, that they get to go and learn about new things and you don't have to teach them all day long! The second best, is getting tickets to fun educational events/stuff at GREAT PUBLIC SCHOOL PRIZES! Enter WALKING WITH DINOSAURS! Matthew is finally over the WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE, and moved to loving dinos! Steve and I watched a documentary on PBS about this BBC show where they created real life size dinosaurs and are on the road to showcase them in a 1 hour show. I saw the documentary and was fascinated with how they where able to re-create dinos that looked so real! I was instantly interested, and looked up prizes and where or if the show was coming to SA. To my surprise, the show was going to be here in SA for one weekend only! the downside was that the tickets where 20-50dls and up! I wanted to take Matty, but they were pricey! I guess, it adds up quick with 4 people in your family. I got over it, and the other day Matthew comes home with his homework folder for me to sign, and there it was. WALKING WITH DINOSAURS and our school partnering to bring us a special show for elementary schools on the CHEAP! We HAD to get tickets! It was a 1 night only for our school district, and we were thrilled! We decided to leave Olivia behind since it seemed scary for her. BIG THANKS to the Whitings for being so willing to watch her! Anyway, we got great seats, 5dls parking and had a great time! Matthew told us it was the best show ever!
YEY for PREHISTORIC CREATURES!

My parents took all my nieces and nephews, and they said it was awesome! I'm so glad you got to go!
That looks like a LOT of fun!!! very cool.
Wow! That looks like it was a really cool show! We are starting to get into Dinos too. That is great that Matthew was able to go. I can't believe how grown up he is!
Our boys are obsessed with dinosaurs and as a result, I am becoming an inadvertent dinosaur expert (and football expert, baseball expert, sigh.) I wonder if this is coming to Dallas.
