Matthew has really started to talk! In case you didn't know, he was in Speech Therapy for 1 year! He was soooo behind on his speech, that at age 2 he could only say 3 words! I was never worried about him, because he was was fine in all other areas, just not a talker. So, he talks now. A LOT. His pronunciation is so clear now, that is so fun to hear him repeat things I say such as " GEEZ!" and " BULL CORN!" among other things... Anyway, it's fun to have conversations now, and hear him explain in great detail about his trash truck and airplane adventures. But the funnest part has got to be all the things he comes up with!
This week has been hard! For everyone! Steve is doing his Surgery rotation and is AWAY A LOT! Matthew has started his swimming lessons and has decided that he is SCARED of the water after all, and Olivia has this rash that won't go AWAY! (I'm starting to really worry...) and I have TOO many things to do at home!
Soooo while driving to the 4th consecutive day of swim lessons and being stopped at like the 5th red light, I starred out into space for a minute and said the following....
Matthew-"No, mommy! you're brown!"
P.S
This quote is featured in Matthew's Quotes. And BTW I apologize for my poor grammar, but my editor is in his Surgery Rotation and thinks that saving lives is more important than to edit our blog! -AS IF!

Kid's say the funniest things! I wish I was brown.
I'm impressed with Matthew's talking. I'm getting worried about Eric, because he is almost 2 and dosn't even say 3 words. Unless you count his sort of mama, dada and light noises he makes.
Well, I hope you are not feeling so blue and Matthew is enjoying the water more. We just had swim lessons and I was more then ready when they were OVEr!!!
That is pretty funny!! I love when kids say the "obvious" comments. They crack me up.
Hope you can manage your way through having no hubby around. That's never easy!!
Ryan only said about 3 words when he was 2 but the doctor wasn't that worried! She said to wait until about 3 and then she'd look more into it. Well about 3 months before he turned 3 (this past January) he started talking and hasn't stopped since!! I wonder why some doctors choose 2 yrs old. over 3 years old? I would have been A LOT less stressful if Ryan could have talked more at 2. It was so hard trying to help him sometimes because we didn't know what he wanted and it was SO stressful for all of us!
Sounds like Matthew is doing great though! It's so exciting when they finally talk isn't it? Good luck with swimming lessons. I need to do that with our kiddos!
HA HA HA HA - Ask him what color I am. ;) That is so funny...
Yay for swimming lessons!
Hey did you see the Entertainment weekly with Twilight on the cover???
I am still rolling on the floor laughing!!!! He is sooo funny!!
If you get too blue, and the DH is too gone...give me a call and I'll come chill & play with you and the mini-Gibbos.

Isabel used to have a horrible rash that never went away (5 months) and it turned out her skin was sensitive to the chemicals and dyes in the diapers. I had to use the special ones from Seventh Generation. It worked! Even the swim diapers caused problems so I had to put underwear then the diaper then the swimsuit. Thanks heavens she is potty trained now so I don't have to worry about the diapers. Hope Olivia's isn't the same problem!
Kids are so funny! I can't wait to get to a point when I having talking kids and I know what they want! Love the new phones and as always-thanks for keeping us updated on twilight news! I am so excited for Breaking Dawn!
That's so funny! I love that. Aren't kids great? How long is the surgical rotation? It must be fun for Steve to be starting to do things with what he's learned, although not fun for you. I love the pictures of your kiddos. Good luck with everything! :)
