Matthew is done with Pre-K!

This past week has been full of bittersweet moments for us. Our neighbors the Zimmerman's finished school and have moved for good. We will miss them! Matthew has reached yet another milestone of his small life. He has finished Pre-K and is now ready for Kindergarten! not to mention that he is 2 weeks away from his 5th birthday! All of these things are so exciting yet very sad too. I have a school aged kid now, and my baby boy is long gone! I went to his Pre-K graduation this past Wendsday, and he was so excited and proud to have completed school! I must admit I cried! I saw him march up to his teacher and give her a handshake like a young man and not a little boy! Olivia was cheering for him, and was excited to see him in his school environment. Now I'm planning his bday party, and I feel sad to be planning a birthday for a 5 year old! I remember when he turned 1 and I got to pick out his cake and decorations. Now he knows what he wants and I just follow orders. Anyway, I love him, and we couldn't be more proud of him! He's done with school, now if we could just get daddy done with school... :)
