Here we are, Summer 2009! Can you believe it! Time is FLYING! Steve is 2 weeks away from being a 4th year medical student! Anyway, I apologize for slacking on the blogging, but it's summer, and I like to do other things besides sitting in front of the computer. Still, I have to keep it up - so, here is a small recap of our mini trip to Corpus Christi we took on Memorial Day weekend. When we arrived to Corpus the day looked like that! (see first top picture) Yeah, we were a little scared. But luckily it was just that day, and the rest of the weekend was sunny and beautiful! The kids loved the beach sand. But that was about it. Matthew was freaking out about the water and Olivia decided that the waves were scary, too. So, our kids just sat under the umbrella making sand castles and drinking capri suns while Steve and I took turns body surfing! And it was the best body surfing we have done in a LONG time! The waves were awesome! And since the kids were frightened by the water, we had no worries of kids getting close to the ocean and drowning. :) Of course, the trip was not going to be complete unless we stopped by some shops to get some unnecessary magnet that sits on our fridge. But I guess the best part of the trip was the sea food! I LOVE SEAFOOD! And I practically begged Steve to take me to a seafood restaurant, which he did, and we had some yummy shrimp quesadillas! Here are some pictures of our adventure! Enjoy!

What a fun trip. I have always wanted to stop by that building and look at the dolphins up close.
I love the beach pictures. Matthew and Olivia are so cute!
