It's been a week or so since we made our trek to Tennessee. IT WAS A LONG DRIVE! I totally feel for all our friends here who have family in Utah and have to drive home for the holidays! We even stopped in Dallas on our way, to break up the drive but even with that, it felt like forever! I guess, I'm a wuzz that way... Anyway, our drive up to Dallas was so crazy! That weekend was the weekend with the biggest snowfall in Dallas since like 1980 or something! We where driving on ice & rain the whole way! we ended up staying the night at the Gibbons Gramps house (thanks for letting us stay there!) before bed Matthew & Olivia got to enjoy the snow! It was soo fun! perfect kid weather! Not windy, not too cold, just straight snow! The kids went to bed fairly easy. The snow didn't stop all night and by the morning there was about another foot of snow! we didn't even know if we where going to make it to TN! We played outside for a bit before leaving. Seven hours later, we had arrived to Memphis! I really liked it right away! It's a pretty music town, lots of trees & I could see us moving there! Then again, we could live anywhere, we are sent to! It was a nice little visit. While in TN we went to Shelby Farms (a big park, with Buffalo and little boats you can ride) it was nice quick trip before making our final decision! I'm not going to say what we ranked first, because I don't want to jinx it, but we will be finding out where we are going to be the next 5 years on March 18th so stay tuned!

That's exciting! We looked into Memphis for a job a while ago...if you do end up there, be careful! It has a sick percentage of crime there....but i am guess you guys will live on the outskirts :) On the east side of town is where we heard there are nicer areas to live :)
So fun! I can't believe how much it snowed there. Crazy! I love TN, for some reason I have this obsession with the state and would love to live there. Can't wait to hear where you guys will end up!!
